Thankful’s children make up nearly one quarter of our congregation and growing (in more ways than one!) Young families are an integral part of our parish community and we would love for you to join us.


Children’s Chapel

Thankful’s children participate in worship both on their own and with the larger congregation on most Sundays. After the opening Collect of the Day, children are invited to the crossing at the front of the sanctuary to hear a “Children’s Homily,” following which they are invited to process behind the cross to the undercroft for Chapel. They return at the Peace to share in the Eucharistic feast.

Safe Church Training

Volunteers who work with children at Thankful must complete the Episcopal Church training to protect the safety of children and others.
